Meri Bindiya re....

I was just about to leave home, and then got hold of my fav bindi which perfectly matched with my dress color and I felt great and appreciated my looks myeslf:)
Soon after I reached office, I was shocked to see that I had lost it already :'(

Meine usko bade pyaar se chuna
Phir usko apne haathon mein liya
Usko meine pyaar se apne pe lagaya
par aur us bindiya ne bhi mera saath na diya :'(

Meit's Day Out!!

It feels as if we celebrated meits bday just few days back , but time just flies you know, it was time for Meit to grow another year older ;) he was turning 6 now.I wondered what should I present him with other than my love and affection.His room is full of all kinds of books, games and clothes.It was a tough choice for me to decide something for him, anything which I opted for , he made faces at me.I wanted to make it special for him in his way, so gave the gift option to him.He said football, guitar, and after the half day passed he said " Mausi ek kaam karo , mujhe koi gift hi mat do...., he was tired of thinking his gift"I was so much moved by his innocence and simplicity.
It was my long awaited promise to take him to star city, and so I proposed him the plan for Star city and Pizza Hut.He was very much excited and happy , he told "yeh idea achha hein and he would treat that as my gift " :)
The day looked rainy, I was busy till 5 in eve with my other pending work.He kept on calling me to check what time I would return so that we can start as soon as I get back home.The weather was very dark, it looked as if its gonna pour down in next minute ;(.But I didnt wanna disappoint him , and we started.
There was temple on our way as we started , I told him to pray to God that it should not shower and so he did it greacefully.We landed in star city in 30 mins time, he tried his hand at his fav games , be it car racing, biking, boat riding, and etc..We came out and believe me these days he runs away if he spots a camera, but then he was so delighted and happy that I could convince him to give some poses so that I could capture him with stars.We strolled for sometime, got him those bubbles which he loves :)
And then, we were off to Pizza hut :-) yummy na We got hold of table, meit was dying out of hunger..He chose Cheese Garlic bread and ice cream, I helped myself with a veg Spicy Pizza.It was such a unique expierence to be with him and only him in pizza hut.The guy was lucky, he was served in a plate which had Birthday Bang on it, he was filled with surprise(he was wondering that how come they know its his bday).But later I found from those guys it was just for their publicity ;), but they were sweet enough to give him a magic book, Ben 10 notebook and a ballon.He was happy again with exciting gifts.After paying the bill, we left the place with ringing bells which would last forver in my ears atleast.
On the way back to home, I kept him busy so that he doesnt doze off ;)He told me "dekho bhagwaan ne meri baat sunli aur baarish bhi nahi aayi"..how could someone not fulfill a dream coming from such an innocent heart.......

Pyaas

Its been quite sometime that I wrote this, but got time to post it today :)

Pyaas nahi lagti ab paani peene ki
Lagata hein ab aadat ho gayi yuhn aansu peene ki
Paani to phir bhi pyaas buja deta hein
Par yeh aansu zindagi ke har aas pe paani pher deta hein
